- Council has budget of $10,000, so Les Meyer, Treasurer, has some treasury to work with.
- Dorcas Parson is on Dr. Lee’s Enrollment committee – finding ways to increase enrollment going forward. Big enrollment push (statewide) August 8, many ways to volunteer.

- SO is doing their own proctoring for statewide classes coming out in (fall?)

- Update on IvyOnline Advisory Council 7/23/20 (~10 minutes)

- 10-14% student success rate gap between F2F and online
- From Matt Pittman
- 14% less success in Ivy Online than F2F, looking for ways to lessen the gap.
- More data is needed to understand success Ivy online is stating it experienced.
- All statewide courses to be transitioned to IvyOnline by Fall 2021 (previous deadline was Fall 2022). Rationale = IvyOnline have positive student outcomes (no data provided)
- IvyOnline committed to yearly individual faculty evaluations
- Linda shared a fellow adjunct was evaluated from a person they did not know and was not aware he was being evaluated.
- Concern that evals are encouraging keeping students enrolled of making for a quality educational experience.
- Lara Asked: If that is going to be the evaluating guidance from their Ivy Online supervisor, at what point do I become concerned as the program chair and person who has to certify the student’s graduation that the instructor is passing people that should not be passed?
- Acknowledged that previous initiatives not fully vetted before implementation
- 2 primary goals of Council = vetting of initiatives & improved communication
- Promised a deeper-dive into financials of IvyOnline
- Update on Faculty Loading Taskforce 7/29/20 (~5 minute)
- need to gather quantifiable data on actual faculty & chair time spent on tasks
- supposed to have more information by December.
- Debrief on Faculty Reclassification ORG & Trainings (~10 minutes)
- 2 weeks ago went mentor training and last week candidate training. Went well.
- Diane felt like it will be easier for candidates to go through the classification process.
- As a participant council member thought it went well, connected with a colleague to be a mentor.

- Andrew will work with Tracey on getting it into Qualtrics.
