  1. Faculty Check-In (all council members) (~5 minutes)
  2. Strategic Enrollment Planning for Adult Learners (Lara & Marnie Behrendt & Mary Henehan) (~10 minutes)
    1. Reach Enrollment Initiative- talking points for everyday connections naturally occurring
      1. See Handout from Lara
    1. Faculty seem to have limited knowledge on admissions process
    1. Provided some feedback on this new process
  3. Faculty Concerns: 1. Student name changes 2. NWs submission dates (Lara) (~20 minutes)
    1. Names on official roster does not always match Ivy Learn Class List, student can change names in Ivy Learn. Makes it difficult to submit student reporting, such as grades.
    1. NW- Submission dates some courses were not eligible until a certain window, outside of the NW deadline.
  4. Update from Statewide Faculty Council (Erica) (~5 minutes)
    1. Ivy Online: 36 hour email policy is being discussed
    1. Performance Eval- online form overly cumbersome, too long, needs simplified.
      1. Concern over “Who is my supervisor” for Ivy Online
      1. Eval seems disconnected- if someone is evaluating you who is not your actual chair, seems awkward for the person being evaluated.
  5. Update from Statewide Loading Taskforce (Erica) (~5 minutes)
    1. Ongoing for 1 ½ years
    1. Looking for small recommendation for fall 2020, but not a complete recommendation for taskforce
      1. Looking at contact hours for short term change than credit hour.
      1. Future state: narrow contact hour in ASOM possible, possibly 18 contact hours per 16 weeks
      1. Looking at work intensive classes and modifying the loading possibly
      1. AT least one year out from major recommendations
  6. Spring Indy Faculty Council Elections [non-officers] (Erica) (~10 minutes)
    1. Election in April, need to know if you are willing to serve again let Erica know.
    1. May create a brief description so candidates know commitment they are making.
  7. ~3:00 pm Update on Faculty Reclassification ORG & trainings for spring 2021 (Stephanie Hopper & Erica) (~10 minutes)
    1. New Spring 2021 org and training sessions, Stephanie and Erica working on this
    1. Form to intent to seek reclassification is due May 1
      1. Could send out message to faculty who are eligible for reclassification
  8. Update on IvyPalooza w Staff Council (Erica et al) (~10 minutes)
    1. Planning committee underway , April 28th one at 1-2p and one 6p-7p, can attend either session. Evening session garnered for part time folks better, Prizes, games, SWAG, raffle
      1. Hats- considered for the gifts/SWAG
      1. Fundraising trophy
  9. ~3:15 pm Faculty Recognition Awards discussion (Rachel Barrett Knight & Erica) (~10 minutes)
    1. Staff Award exists: https://ivylife.ivytech.edu/submitter/form/start/462854
      1. Possible faculty version of this? Student driven
      1. Rachel Barret Knight, Marcus , Erica and Linda willing to work on this.
        1. Need to think for frequency (ex. once a semester or year)
        1. One per school or something else? Need to think for these details
        1. Rachel will provide a formalized proposal to the smaller group listed above and have a recommendation by end of March in preparation for next council meeting
  10. Update & discussion on next steps for REST data presentation (Andrew et al) (~5 minutes)
    1. What do we want to do with this information?
    1. Andrew can follow up with Julie Lorton Rowland for goal 5
    1. Consider recommendations to put forth as a council
      1. Actionable items can be discussed in next meeting
      1. All council members can put together ideas to share at next meeting
  11. Last council meeting April 30th– fun faculty get together being planned.
